Crazy world... insane thoughts
It's like the title says...

Mr. Muthalik.... Suck my d***

Wednesday, February 25, 2009
I hope this is defamatory!!!
Actually Muthalik rhymes with sick... Although you know what the title means!

I stand against those who would deny me freedom and fresh air. I kick those hard who would deny expression of thought. They have thoughts - they are free to express them - then why not us???

I was looking for trouble with the Ram sena or any other sena for that matter this valentines day. Ok - so nothing happened.

Now the honorable bribe taking folks in positions of judgment say that I cannot express my views as on individual online. Political and legal dissidence is my way of expression!

Maybe it don't matter - but I will be my own one drop in the big ocean. Ripples to follow....

I love reading what's happening.... what you're thinking... how you feel....

I have been observing all the folks on my friend list (and they number close to 400) as they go about their daily lives .... putting in that update every once in a while.
There are the thinkers... the feelers... the action oriented folks (doing something).. the WHY ME kinda folks... and the list goes on!!
It makes my day to read these updates, if nothing else - i chortle and do my own lil round of internal laughter

At the time of going to the blogpress - SLUMDOG is at 6 oscars and SMILE PINKI has also brought forth a smile!!

the 3S approach

Saturday, February 21, 2009
the 3 S' that define life!!!

are you getting enough of it????

If I get the input into the tummy - there will be an output.
If I am getting enough sleep - there is peace around.

If there's action in life - then the most human of needs is fulfilled.
This may be a very basic approach to life.  But i've been thinking - and this kinda sums it up!

there are other things.... such as money.... power.....professional success...... but I guess they are incidental.

random rambling

Saturday, February 21, 2009
All our thoughts...
all our words...
each and every action that we partake in.

There is a consequence.
Some natural, some unnatural.
But we must live the results.
It’s up to us to become a become a worked out relic with no future whatsoever.

Or we can choose to leave a legacy. Something that will weather time and some more time. It’s not about leaving a taj mahal or a pyramid behind. It’s about some values, a handful of right actions and a thought process that live on.
DO we go with instinct or stay with time and tested practicality? The medicine of one age is the poison of another (and vice versa).

I spent the entire day in bed nursing an injured back and wondering where this is going.
I performed my routine chores, attended to a few important issues at office and felt like I had been at work without leaving my bed. It was actually quite depressing.
I know i can't travel to work on Saturday - and I hate thinking that i'm gong to be a bottleneck!!!

The 1 Drop

Friday, February 20, 2009
At first I wondered what 1 drop could do.
Then I put the camera into action and decided to save the moment for posterity!!
The 1 drop did make a whole lot of ripples.
Leads me to think - Can 1 person make a difference?
It's easy to lose my way in the maze of banality.

Let's be that 1 DROP.... It's time for a shakeup!!

i've always wanted to be a hero....
... the type that come with a devil may care attitude
... the one who walks with an attitude
... the one who is modest and brave
... the one who has to kill... for the right reason
... who is a law unto himself
... who has the girls fawning and the guys go green with envy when they hear his name
... who is unaffected by the crap around him
... who might go to heaven one day with a clean conscience.

Sadly... I'm none of the above!
I'm just a normal guy with dreams.

25 random things about me

Wednesday, February 18, 2009
This is not an easy tag that Kavita sent my way.
For starters - it's not easy to classify things as being "RANDOM" about oneself.

I hate to think of myself as random. I believe all things gave a purpose. So here goes...
  1. I like canines more than humans.
  2. I play with LEGO at this age.
  3. I can go to any length to get that perfect shot off on the camera.
  4. I received training in Western dancing from JJ Rodrigues..... but never took it further!
  5. I find it hard to expect pain when it is expected of me. But then there are times when it just flows out.
  6. I was a deep introvert once - used to feel tongue tied and shy around women!
  7. I used to leave hidden valentines day cards in mail boxes... signed off as "Invisible Admirer".. during my stay in Hyderabad Estate in Mumbai.
  8. I got high at this party and proposed to my Girlfriends roommate. Then realizing my mistake - i cam back and told my GF that i'd done this as a joke to see her reaction. She was not to take her seriously. I lied. I meant every word.
  9. Girls & women have got me in and out of every adventure / shithole in my life.
  10. I learned cooking as a chore - but now I relish it.... even at 2am!
  11. I get caught every time I try to lie. The joker within comes to the fore and this silly grin plays across the face.
  12. I love gadgets - but I can't drive... and I don't think I ever will..
  13. I miss mumbai and though we are settled in Delhi now - i would give up a lot of things to get back to my favorite city.
  14. I would binge on shopping to get over depressing periods in life. Drinking never worked for me.
  15. I never thought I'd get married- no girl would fit the bill and vice versa - now I wonder how time flies.
  16. Every time I read / hear about injustice - I fume up and secretly wish that I had a gun to take the law into my own hands.
  17. My only visible identification mark - the scar - is given my sibling at the age of 7
  18. I love kids and wish there were a ton of them around me - i lose my sense of impatience with them
  19. I'm obsessed with maintaining records
  20. I love being bald.... i feel it sets me apart from the rats in the race
  21. I love to RUN, when I can walk..... and then I'm clumsy!
  22. I dream... a lot... and sometimes I remember them too.
  23. I never give up on a relationship... and it hurts me when others do. I bend backwards then - but its never enough!
  24. I'm pushy at trying to get things done - but i keep trying to be the nice guy! Sometimes I fall flat on both fronts!
  25. Leave me alone in my room - with my computer, some beer, my camera , games and the internet.... and you wouldn't know that I existed.

All men are dogs

Monday, February 16, 2009
..... So speaketh two (three if I count my wife) young ladies of impeccable upbringing well versed in the ways of the world.

For the second time in the day I looked across inquiringly. ROTTWEILER - they echoed in chorus! That's your breed. I didn't go down the road of an in-depth inquiry. I googled.

So for the record as much as I could put here from Wikipedia

The Rottweiler, or Rottweil Metzgerhund (Butchers Dog), is a "medium to large size, stalwart dog" breed originating in Germany as a herding dog. It is a hardy and very intelligent breed.

"Rottweiler breeders aim at a dog of abundant strength, black coated with clearly defined rich tan markings, whose powerful appearance does not lack nobility and which is exceptionally well suited to being a companion, service and working dog."

Currently they are often used as search and rescue, assistance, guard and police dogs in addition to their traditional roles.

The typical Rottweiler is "good natured, placid in basic disposition and fond of children, very devoted, obedient, biddable and eager to work. His appearance is natural and rustic, his behaviour self assured, steady and fearless. He reacts to his surroundings with great alertness."
Rottweilers are an extremely powerful breed with well developed genetic guarding and herding instincts, and prey drive - don't mess with me!!

That sounds like a compliment.... Thank you ladies
I'd rather be a rottweiler than a pom or a spaniel. Good for show, nothing else!
You need something done - I'm your best friend!

A higher level

Monday, February 16, 2009
I was in flow - a discourse on Indian tradition and multiple partners down the ages from the lofty gods to us mere mortals.
I had a trapped audience of 3.
They had no choice but to listen.... As I sometimes have none!

At the end - one smart aleck conjectures, "sir , you definitely have a good future in the field of motivational speaking". I looked askance but he put it down to a gut feel

I do hope it pans out

Best Regards,
Arjun Mahajan

peace and deliverance!!

Friday, February 06, 2009
Look at the smaller things in life.... the ones that we know are there... but never acknowledge...
The 5 minutes that you spend with folks... over a drink.. sharing space and time...
The sense of achievement when you look back at pictures... and remember how things were..
sometimes money ain't everything...
It's the way to peace and deliverance
